Our Aim

Chester Road Runners is an Affiliated Club to England Athletics (UKA Registration Number: 7692497). 

We have a formal constitution and the club is managed by a committee.

The aims and objectives of Chester Road Runners are:
  • To offer coaching and competitive opportunities in Road Running.
  • To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club.
  • To provide all its services in a way that is fair to everyone.
  • To continue to work closely with Friends of Westminster Park/Active Cheshire/Chester and Cheshire West Council and other partners to promote road running within Chester and surrounds.
  • Chester Road Runners is an amateur sports club that is open to the whole community without discrimination on the grounds of ability, socio-economic status, race, sexuality or religion.
Chester Road Runners is keen to encourage a ‘whole family’ approach to participation in sport and as such is committed to establishing a culture of equity within sport to ensure that road running is accessible for ALL.

Chester Road Runners is committed to everyone having the right to enjoy their sport in an environment free from threat of intimidation, harassment and abuse.

Chester Road Runners is a non-profit making organisation such that any surplus income or gains shall be re-invested in the club and are not to be distributed to members or related third parties.

Chester Road Runners and Officers of the club cannot be held liable for any third-party recommendations made as part of road running at the club.
